The client wanted a warm and welcoming lounge with original and authentic pieces of furniture. The Saarinen iconic dining table was personalized with an Arabescato marble and accessorized with vintage Italian chairs. Adjacent to the dining area, is a sofa inspired by Zanotta with a custom made side table fashioned in green alpi marble. Giulio reupholstered the two vintage armchairs in a bold rose orange to contrast with the grey and green tones of the other furniture. The intrepid color choice also creates an energetic flow from the sitting to the dining room.

The client’s love for plants helped Giulio to create an effortless 50’s inspired kitchen. The space needed to be white due to the size, however, Giulio echoed the plant green cautiously throughout for a cohesive, unified and unforced feel.

The bedroom has always been an oasis of peace and relaxation for the client, therefore, Giulio wanted to truly embody the client’s persona within this area. The silky sky blue creates a peaceful aura that showcases and highlights the gold within the Fornasetti wallpaper. The vintage Italian desk/armchair (from the 50’s) and antique bedside tables/lamps, creates a symbiotic relationship with the custom-made bed and linens designed by Giulio.

The client’s extensive collection of Fornasetti is cohesively dispersed throughout her home to unify all the spaces.
